    When: Saturday, March 18, 2017

Where: Hooker Canyon, Diff Hanger, Gauntlet

Meeting: The official meeting point is the Chevron on Air Base Road in Mountain Home, at the intersection with Highway 51 (Bruneau Highway), at 9:00 am.

BBQ: This will be a joint club run with Wild West Off Road. We will have a BBQ following the run in the Gauntlet/Diff Hanger parking lot. More information will come about what to bring, but one of the clubs will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs.

The Runs: There are three levels of trails, all in the same area. Hooker Canyon is easy, Diff Hanger is medium, and Gauntlet is hard. Plan for being gone most of the day, since it’s a lot of pavement between here and Bruneau.

    Requirements:
-Hooker Canyon: This is a stock or better run, as long as you have front and rear attachment points.
-Diff Hanger: 33s and one locker, front and rear attachment points. Body damage is a possibility.
-Gauntlet: 35s and two lockers, front and rear attachment points. Body damage is probable. If you have never seen
the waterfall at the very beginning of Gauntlet, it’s one you should go and watch as people head up. This is a very
difficult trail, and the people who usually run this trail run Diff Hanger backwards after. Square headlights
    recommended.

As always, tools, food, and water are recommended for spending the day outdoors. Also, dress for the weather, because it could be anywhere from 20 degrees to 70 degrees in March.
