Does anyone know why there isn’t an ORV park around here? Watching you tube videos and reading through other forums I see ORV parks all over the country. Why not here?

People won’t pay admission to a park when they have an abudance of federal/state land that is open for recreation.

There are a few private “courses” in the area; just enthusiasts who like to pile up huge rocks and obstacles to mess around with on their property. Never been on one myself, and never heard of them being open to public, but occasionally clubs will host a function at one.

Thats the closest you’re going to get to a park. Plenty of free trails around here!

Good point about the free trails. Now to get out there and find them. Thank you for the feedback.

IOR tries to have 2 runs per month. One geared toward easier scenic trail and one more hard core rocks (or snow on normal winter). Tag along, we will show them to you.

PS sorry if you are already and IOR member, I don’t recognize your forum name.

I will keep my eyes open for future runs. I went to Hollister in California with 15 other Jeeps on New Years Eve. It was a great time. I really want to get out and explore my rigs abilities.
