NOTE: If you missed last nights meeting we really need to let Congressmen Otter know we appreciate his support on this. Finally someone in power is standing up with us. Lets call him & let him know we thank him & appreciate his support. It will only take a few minutes. You can even do it after hours & leave a message. Read the message below.

Forwarded from Sandra Mitchell of the IRC:

Congressman Butch Otter spoke up for our position on CIEDRA (read Boulder White Clouds) and as a result is taking lots heat in the press. He is getting seriously beat up. He did what we asked him to and now it is crucial that we thank him.

There are a couple of ways you can do that:

    1. Call one of his offices today or tonight, they have answering machines
and say “Thank you for opposing CIEDRA” give you name and address and say good-bye. Easy and quick.
    Boise, 336-9831
    Coeur’d Alene, 667.0127
    Lewiston, 298.0030
    Caldwell, 454.5602
If you live in the second district, please also make the call because soon
he will represent all of Idaho and it is important that he knows all of
    Idaho cares about this issue.

    2. Write a letter to the editor and congratulate the Congressman for
    speaking up.

When someone helps us we have to say thank you! Please make the call
    today!

Thanks and we will talk again soon!

P.S. Don’t think for one moment that this battle is over because it isn’t.
Someone once told me that true character is demonstrated when the going
gets tough not during the easy times. We can still prevail if we never
    give up.

If you haven’t called and thanked Congressman Butch Otter for standing up
for our position on CIEDRA, please do so. It is important and it does make
a difference. If he has the courage to oppose Simpson then we need to let
him know he isn’t alone. He needs to know that we stand behind our
    friends!

    1. Call one of his offices today or tonight, they have answering machines
and say “Thank you for opposing CIEDRA” give you name and address and say
    good-bye. Easy and quick.

or send an e-mail message to jeff.malmen@mail.house.gov

If you live in the second district, please also make the call or send the
e-mail note because soon he will represent all of Idaho and it is important
that he knows all of Idaho cares about this issue.

Thanks for all your hard work and we will talk again soon.
