March 2021-Council Meeting Minutes

Call to Order/Roll Call:   March 4^th, 2021 at 7:02pm  Zoom Virtual Meeting

In Attendance:  President: Justin Simms, Secretary/Event Planner/Sunshine: Ginny Simms, Web Guru:  Micke Barnes, State Association/Rock Run Coordinator/Board Member at Large:  Nathan White, Safety Officer:  Klint Breeding, Education:  Dan Sullivan, Trail Run Coordinator:  Glenn Morgan, Event Planner:  Patti Evans, Club Photographer:  Lisa Breeding, Visitors:  Marcy Sullivan.

3.       Education Presentation:  Dan=  Night Time Land Navigation was brought up in preparation for the Rocket Run Participation.

4.        Land Use –   Christian= Not in attendance. 

5.       State Association :  Nathan=  State Association Meeting this Saturday.

6.       Web Master:  Micke= will be helping with Zoom abilities for State Association Meeting on Saturday. 

7.       Sunshine: Ginny:  The Club sent out a couple of Sympathy Cards to friends and family.  Harvey London & Ginger Pearson welcome their new Grandson (Feb 24^th Grayson Michael).  Dianna & Steve Magstadt continue to recover from a terrible auto accident.  Dianna had shoulder surgery Feb 12^th, she is now struggling with physical therapy.

8.       Active & New Business:

·               2021 IOR Council Election is here!  We will need a Secretary write in this year.  As the position is free of nomination, as of yet.  Lisa Breeding had volunteered last meeting, then backed down, but after tonight’s meeting she then accepted formally.  We now have our nominees as follows:  President:  Patti Evans, Vice President:  Klint Breeding, Treasurer:  Christian Dahlstrom, Secretary:  Lisa Breeding.

·               Club Membership Dues being accepted now until March 11th, after there will be a $10 late fee applied.  Club Member Dues are $30, New Member’s Dues $40 ($10 goes to the State Association).

·               State Association Meeting Saturday 6^th.  Run meet up at 8am North side of Perrine bridge (parking lot).  Lunch at 12pm (ID Pizza Co. 1859 Kimberly Rd Twin Falls, ID)

·               March 13^th, 10am, Planetary Discovery & Bonfire Run at Robie Creek.  Hosted by Christian Dahlstrom.  Please RSVP.

·               Rocket Run Planning Committee will begin meeting in March 18^th, 2021.  Via Zoom

·               3 Club/All Club Run, March 27^th, Bruneau Area.  8am meet at Dirt Parking lot across from Bruneau One Stop.  There will be a couple people camping at the trailhead of Diff Hanger the night before and after the run.
