Current Member Count – 64    Up for vote this month: Aug  Meeting Amber Chase & Will Cooper, Daniel Rodgriquez has met the run and meeting requirements and has been notified that he needs to submit an application.

Applications are online- goes to spreadsheet- Micke to add Brenda to spreadsheet

Members need to be added in Nov to attend Christmas party

Facebook private membership – need to verify that it is members only- Ginny will work with Micke to identify spouses/partners

Discussion on getting a list of paid members on a shared document. get a list of paid members- shared document

Discussed timely payment/reimbursement  to those that need reimbursement- discussed a backup to Christian to provide reimbursement.

Half of the monthly raffles proceeds will go to Legal Fund until it reaches $1200

Request to have raffles’ receipts posted in the agenda for a thank you as well as note the amount that is going to the Land Use Fund.

Raffle Fund: $5,017.80   Rocket $5,764.00

Grand Total $18,865.91

Web Master: Micke Barns – updates on the special projects – IORBOT

Discussed using paper check in list for those that don’t have phones or phones that work with the new technology. Micke is working on updates to IORBOT to improve auto fill and ease of use. Text “Hi” to   855-520-0494 to see how IORBOT works.  Patti is looking for other options to communicate. Discussion about alternate methods- option to add text or email. There is concern that adding more methods may be an overload.  Currently members can go to the web site or facebook – Micke will make sure both are updated.  Discussed providing documentation on How to be a trail leader with the option of adding the responsibility of setting up the event on the website.  This will take some training and the option needs to be available for those that don’t enjoy technology.

Sunshine: Ginny Simms:

Birthdays: Amy Weidner 4th, Cory Mikhals 13th, William Hellwig 24th, Howard Shields 27th, Marcy Sullivan 30th, Caitlin (Bit) Gamas 31st.  Sunshine: Sent Phyllis Morland a cookbook due to hospital stay.                                                                                                                  

The Crew : Richard Scott will be stepping down – The Crew will be dismantled for IOR4x4 purposes until Richard can return.

Previous Events and old Business:

1. • Welcome Micke Barnes as VP and Brenda Robinson as Secretary
   • July 4th campout 
   • Hawley Mountain Run – TJ – 13 vehicles attended
   • Raffle income in July was $466 in cash and charges of_$55 

Sara has a credit card reader and should have permissions to sync by the Aug Meeting.  Christian is working with Sara on this.

Active & New Business:

1. • 4 Wheel Parts 5% discount and 3% rebate back to the club.
     • (Need to provide the Roster in to  get the rebate. Funds are to go into the general fund.
   • Swag update
     • Discussion on the logo- A prior printer from long ago has a bunch of logos that we can use that have the original color. There are 86 light brown potato logos. More discussion on the  need to get the original media in an svg format.  Plan may be to scan a logo to get a better format that has better colors.
   • New Member status / update.  How many new members do we expect to vote on before December 9, the last meeting before the Christmas Party. Last vote in November.

1. • Dogs – general discussion after dog bite incident – Sara provided an update.Discussion on dog owners to make sure their pets are under control and not bothering others.

1. • Gift Basket from IOR4x4 to LiteBrite Nation August 10 & 11
     • IOR shirts and decals are for members only, cannot include in a gift basket to non members.
     • Limit on Council approved spending determined to be $250
     • Suggestion to create a sticker for an IOR supporter. 
     • Council voted and approved spending up $75 for LiteBrite.  Will purchase Idaho based product.

There should be Bell rules on the web site.  Dan will look to see if they are on the website.

Trips and Trails:

Upcoming Events Ginny Simms & Patti Evans:

1. • Labor Day Campout planning with USFS is in process – Camp Host Marc Bennett – Glen will provide updates to the club. Fire restrictions may be a concern. 

1. • Christmas Party Planning Underway with Riverside Hotel for December 11. Still not sure of capacity restrictions. 

Next Meetings:

Council: Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 7pm Bull Pen Room at Legends in Boise- Brenda will not be able to attend.  Glen graciously volunteered to take notes in my absence. 

Club: Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 7pm location – Idaho Pizza Company in Meridian
