• ICCU Bank Account Update
• Both Rachael and Jim have access now
• First Interstate Bank Account
• $1000 remaining in account. Need to get this money transferred and account closed.
• Christian coming into town next Friday – Jim will meet up and they will get the account closed. 8-12-22
• Will deposit money into ICCU
• QuickBooks Update
• Started working in this – working on categorizing/reconciling
• CPA Consult – Status Update:    On hold until the account is lined out.
• Council agreed that with the growth of the Rocket Run, we are concerned about the tax implications for the club.
• Would it be best for the club to separate Rocket Run as its own nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation?
• Rachael had reached out to a CPA that she works with; however, he has not responded.  She will attempt contact again.
• Rachael’s contact is super busy right now. 
• Dan Sullivan also suggested Lynn Nixon (an ex-member) as a possible CPA source if Rachael’s source does not work out.

Education – Aaron Malin

Todd Wernex – Recreation Program Manager – from the endowment of lands (Idaho Department of Lands)

No law enforcement to enforce laws.  Educate on endowment lands and how they are utilized in offroad recreation. Opportunities available on this land.

Land Use/State Association – Patti Evans

Lost access to two land owners in the Owyhees – closed gates.

Whiskey Mountain, part of Tiddy Springs, and to west of Whiskey Mountain trail.

IRC:  Legal battle in northern part of state – IRC involved. Also working on an education campaign to create a PSA

Tom Brooks will present during meeting.

Previous Events and Old Business:

1. Deadwood & Scott Mountain Lookouts – (Arnolds) July 17^th
2. Coble Riggins Trail Runs – August 4^th-7^th

Active and New Business:

1. Larry Marks Passing
• Idaho Veteran’s Cemetery on August 11th at 10:00 am.
• Luncheon to be held at the church in Melba after the services.

                                  i.    Need a count if some are planning on going to the luncheon.

                                 ii.    Did you receive word back on a contact? Or does someone know Jeriann and feel comfortable calling her?

2. Need to post to member FB page.
• Should the club send flowers for the service or provide some other assistance for the service/family?

                                  i.    Marcy – knows them well. Larry was an originator of the Toys for Tots drive…. Rename in his name.

                                 ii.    Marcy will reach out to Jeriann to get contact for RSVP

                                iii.    Jeriann is looking to sell Larry’s tools that she will reach out with info.

1. Council Meeting Venue:  We will need to find another council meeting venue for the month of September 2022 or utilize Zoom/Teams.
2. 2022 Rocket Run Clean-up – Final Task

1. BLM Fee Payment – BLM takes 3% of gross revenue ($185 application fee is pulled from the 3%)

                                  i.    Until Rachael has access to the ICCU account, she cannot fully account for Rocket Run proceeds.

                                 ii.    She will continue to work on getting access to the bank account and finalize RR gross revenue.

1. Rachael hopes to have Rocket Run sorted and ready by next month. She has everything is separated out by date.
2. Pattie has had a conversation with Brian and is understanding. Will wait for our bookkeeping to catch up.

4. Rocket Run 2023 (May 6^th, 2023) – initiate planning in September 2022
• Any volunteers?
5. Trail Maintenance – Tiddy Springs
• Maybe look at a BBQ for Tiddy Springs – during October? Maybe October 15th?
• Paul Nettleton – controls Tiddy Springs area

                                  i.    Glenn Morgan will coordinate with Paul

                                 ii.    Trail above tub/cabin that he would like to have cleaned up.

6. September Hwy Clean–up/Octoberfest – September 17th
• ITD anticipates Hwy 21 road work between May and late July 2022.
7. 2023 State Association Ride & Rally
• Justin (Sheri’s brother) came up with an initial concept, Marcy likes

                                  i.    Patti will send Marcy/Dan the image

                                 ii.    $75 bill to Justin – Rachael

8. Prospective Member Cards – Glenn will edit the proposed card and get these printed. We will try to start using these ASAP for prospective members.
• Glenn hopes to work on after the Coble Trail Runs
9. Membership & Meeting Committee – Tabled to September 2022, will see how the next few months are at our current venue.
• Glenn gathered list of committee volunteers – Marcy, Nathan White, Travis Moats, and Paula Tuttle
10. Voting Discussion: – Tabled to September 2022 (from April council meeting) should we move to an electronic format such as a QR code or SMS text?
11. IOR Xmas Party:  Ginny continues to work on event planning.
12. Website/FB Event Coordination: Glenn Piper will reach out to Micke to coordinate events from IOR website and FB club private and public pages.
13. Labor Day Run – Rachael will pick up plates and silverware from Costco and bring to the member meeting next week.
14. IOR Swag Store – Jim asked about if we have made progress in getting a store set-up for members from.

Raffle

July 2022 raffle brought in $___________

• We are looking for more volunteers for the months of September, October, and December.
• Club to supply a $50-75 gift card for each raffle
• August raffle, Jim will not purchase gift cards
• Patti suggested asking for pizza coupons from Idaho Pizza Company
• Dan reaching out to Mark to remind him to bring raffle prizes next week.
