04/24/2021 @ 12:00 – 04/25/2021 @ 09:00
7th Annual Chuck Coble Memorial Rocket Run is IOR’s ‘Main Event’ for the year. We pull out all the stops, set the transfer case to 4-low & floor it.
WHO: The Idaho Off-Road 4×4 club hosts the event with the generous support of our sponsors and benefactors. This event is open to stock or better 4x4s, ATVs, UTVs, and Dirt Bikes.
WHAT: The Rocket Run is a nighttime off-road event where participants search for illuminated checkpoints in the Owyhee Desert. Absolutely Not a Poker Run: Find a flag, get a card, winning hand wins prizes!
– – – At Night.
WHERE: Owyhee desert south of Dan’s Ferry Service. We’ll be based and starting out of the Hemingway Butte Trail Head.

Arrive after noon to check in. You’ll pick up your goody bag, meal tickets, t-shirts, and drivers card. At the same desk, you can purchase raffle tickets and additional driver punch cards.
The raffle items will be on display. Check back shortly for a list of items we’ll have this year. There are still people talking about last year’s raffle.
At 5pm, dinner will start. This year, we’ll have the tables placed a bit further apart to give you more room. Stayed tuned for an update on the meal. When you register, please comment if you have any special requests. Don’t forget this is usually a beef and potato meal.
Following dinner, we close registration and start calling out the raffle items. Keep your ears open, as you won’t want to miss your numbers!
At 7:30, all of the drivers are required to join the drivers meeting to learn of any last minute changes, understand the rules of the road, and get radio information. (p.s. HAM radios are best if you are licensed and we have people who can help program the required frequencies).
At 8:30, GO GO GO
