General Membership Meeting Agenda
January 14th, 2021 Zoom Virtual Club Meeting (2nd ever!) started at 7pm
Idaho Off-Road 4×4 Club is an association of people brought together to share a single passion: Four Wheeling! We are a FAMILY oriented club dedicated to keeping our public lands open while practicing the policy of TREAD LIGHTLY!

I. Call to order –Justin Simms: president@idaho4x4.com
II. Sergeant at Arms – Maintains order in the room. There is a $1 charge for unnecessary disruptions.

VII. Active and New Business
· Guest Speakers/Education: Scott Turner, Boise County Sheriff & Clayton Albright, Forest Service’s Law Enforcement Officer & Acting Patrol Captain.
· It’s that time of year when we need to begin thinking of who you’d like to nominate for the 2021 IOR Council. Justin & Ginny will be stepping down from all of their positions.
Nominations for: President Patti Evans, Vice President Klint Breeding, Treasurer Christian Dahlstrom, Secretary (nobody as of yet).
· Rocket Run Planning Committee will begin meeting in January 21, 2021 at 7pm via Zoom.
· Club Membership Dues being accepted now until March 11th, after there will be a $10 late fee applied. Club Member Dues are $30, New Member’s Dues $40 ($10 goes to the State Association). Christian has been asked to send out emails to individuals who haven’t paid and thank you emails to those who have.
VIII. Education : Dan Sullivan: Clayton Albright & Scott Fuller. Would like to have IOR help with vehicle recovery calls and possibly help with Grimes Creek Cleanup in the near future. Club agreed to share Council member contact info for assistance. Both spoke about larger numbers more then ever are travelling to Boise County and causing problems travelling into areas where their vehicles aren’t capable, leaving trash or destroying our recreating areas. Both were thankful that IOR hasn’t been a part of any of this bad news and request our assistance for the future. Both highly recommended the Avenza.com program to access maps of usable areas during the winter months.

• Club sent a book about different jeep stories to Glenn Morgan, so he can keep his mind on the trail when he’s healing from a small non major procedure. Club sent a card to a couple of Club Members to let them know we careand are thinking of them during the difficult month of December.

IX. WebMaster: Micke Barnes: webmaster@idaho4x4.com has purchased the zoom address that we are hosting the meeting on. He has asked if the club would like to reimburse him, if they believe zoom meetings to be a success and will continue to use it in the future. Micke has decided to donate the Zoom addresses to IOR so that we may continue with our Successful Virtual Club Meetings.
X. Land Use – Christian Dahlstrom Seasonal Closures: Don’t go past snow berms! Stay on the road!
XI. State Association: Nathan White: March State Association meeting has been scheduled for March 5th. IOR has volunteered to help with getting a Zoom Meeting organized to help with gathering more people from the entire state association.

XV. Upcoming Events – Ginny Simms/Patti Evans
· Ginny has called the State Parks & Rec for reserving the Lucky Peak Reservoir Park Shelter. We are currently on a list, as our group size is larger then allowed at this time, as we are in Phase II (only allows 10 people to gather).
