Rocket Run 2022		Owyhee County Sheriff and EMS Donations from the 2022 Rocket Run $1,000.00 – Brent from Grizzly Motors accepted on behalf of the OCS $500.00 – Chief Chuck Cooley accepted Rocket Run Glow Worm/Extra Poker Card Raffle for the 4WP winch!!! John Lundberg from Boise 4×4 pulled ticket. Eric Thomas was drawn as the winner of the winch
Land Use & State Association – Patti Evans IRC: The next IRC General Membership Meeting is scheduled this Saturday, July 16th @ 501 Baybrook Court from 10 am to 3 pm. RSVP smitchel@alscott.com to attend. Land Use: Whiskey Mountain thru private land is now closed over safety concerns and destruction of property. We do not know if this is permanent or temporary and we will be making inquiries. Hot August Nights and Blazing Lights on August 20th may be re-routed to another trail if we can’t find a way around the closed section of road. Missing man, Matt Schultz of Pocatello, was located. Matt died doing what he loved, capturing the beauty of Idaho with his drone. Matt’s last video he posted is on YouTube of the Cave Draw at Bruneau River, Idaho. We would like to thank the Owyhee, Meridian, and Malheur police departments, and the countless volunteers who drove and flew for hours in their extraordinary efforts in searching for Matt. This is a reminder to us as recreationalists that the Owyhees are as deadly as they are breathtaking. Respect for the weather, the terrain, the wildlife and the vastness of the area is always important. This is why we support the emergency services of Owyhee County. Be Safe, Be Vigilant, Be Smart! Idaho State 4×4 Association: Snake River Offroaders hosted State Ride & Rally / Lavapalooza 2022 and raised $3,256. Welcome Tom Brooks and Micke Barnes. They will be voting on your behalf at future State Association meetings. Next meeting: August 3rd @ 7 pm via zoom.

Active & New Business			Rocket Run 2023 – May 6^th, 2023 – Still need volunteers to lead this event. Idaho State Association Ride & Rally 2023 / Warm Lake hosted by IOR – Marcy & Dan Sullivan June 15th – 18th, 2023 – Father’s Day weekend Looking for volunteers for this event. Looking to double income from the 2022 Lavapalooza event – approximately $6-7K Will be using SignUpGenius to track volunteers Reach out to Marcy or Dan if you would like to assist with this event. Unclaimed Rocket Run raffle prizes BBQ/grill will go to 2023 RR, and Commercial Tire – use for new tires for club trailer Black tow rope/shackle, PRP/Mahindra gripper grab handles, and hot plate placed in the July 2022 member meeting raffle.
