*Raffle information:
1. The raffle is on a voluntary basis. If you volunteer to be responsible for the raffle one month it is your responsibility to purchase the raffle prizes, or ask businesses to donate to the raffle. You need to bring the raffle items to the meeting you volunteered for. You sell the raffle tickets at the meeting you are responsible for, or you can ask for help on selling the raffle tickets.
2. The reason behind the raffle is to build up the raffle fund to have a Christmas raffle that no one is responsible for.
3. Some of the raffle money also goes towards Toys for Tots each year.
4. We encourage every member to volunteer for a raffle. You can volunteer on your own, or make it a joint venture. Thank you in advance for considering volunteering for the raffle.

One Reply to “November-2019 Club Meeting Minutes”

  1. Toys for Tots donation.
During the meeting, I noted that the sales of raffle tickets for Dec 18 to Nov 19 would be about 2900, and as such I raised and was seconded to donate $300 for Toys for Tots. That check was written and provided to Marcy.
Following the meeting, someone noted that the Toys for Tots donation should have been closer to $550 as they assumed the Christmas Party raffle sales should be included. I have reviewed the prior meeting minutes that I can find, and it is not consistent that it included the party raffle.
So, I recommend the Standard Operating Procedures be updated to reflect the direction to be followed, and those SOPs be posted to be followed.
In that regard, here are the raffle numbers for 2019.
    Sum w/o Christmas 3,989.00 – 1,000.00 = 2,989.00
    Sum with Christmas 6,579.02 – 1,000.00 = 5,579.02
We replenished 1000.00 to the Legal Fund. A check for 300 has been provided. An additional check for 257.90 will be shared as well.
Our total Raffle donation to Toys for Tots for 2019 is 557.90.
Thanks to all who have donated their time and money to make this year’s raffle and Toys 4 Tots contribution such a huge success.
