Land Use
BLM Travel Management Plans (TMPs) – Morely Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey subregion (east of Murphy down to Bruneau) is taking comments until January 8th. Please take time to review the below trail maps and comment!
BLM plans to have all Owyhee travel plans done by March 1st.
State Association
“Best of” Contest – submission window is currently open – submit through FB and they will add to website – voting will start next week/this weekend. $1/vote via the website.
Trail App – Glenn Piper is working with the State Association on developing an app.
New officers will shadow the existing respective officer for the months of January – March, and then fully take on the role starting April 2024.
Fire Extinguisher Class – Aaron is working with Don Kartchner to put together a class for those that have not had the opportunity to do hands-on training. More information to come.
10th Annual Chuck Coble Rocket Run – Date set for Saturday, May 4th! Mark your calendars!
