Fire Extinguishers
Must be ABC rated #10 (ash, gas-diesel, and electrical)
No plastic parts on the extinguisher – they melt and are unreliable.
Know how to use it – PASS (pull pin, aim at the base of fire, squeeze, and sweep)
Carry the fire extinguisher in an accessible spot and everyone must carry one.
Don Kartchner has a fire protections business and has access to quality fire extinguishers.
