June-2019 Council Meeting Minutes
Call to Order/Roll Call: At: 7:04pm
In Attendance: President: Justin Simms, Secretary/Sunshine/Event Planner: Ginny Simms, Treasurer/Land Use: Christian Dahlstrom, Web Guru: Micke Barnes, Event Planner: Lola Hartnoll, Board Member at Large/State Association: Nathan White, Rock Run Coordinator: Howard Shields. Visitors Present: Diane Dahlstrom, Lynette White.

2. Current Financial Status: Christian
General Fund: $13,164.31
Joe Aldape Land Use Fund: $200.00
Raffle Fund: $4294.92
Last months Raffle brought in $290.00. (Thank You, Dan & Micke Barnes!)
Grand Total: $17,659.23
3. Education Presentation: Nathan White will talk about Reaction & Response to Emergencies/Accidents.
4. Land Use – Christian & Justin will be attending the Annual IRC meeting June 8th. Will report back to the club next week at IOR Club Meeting.
5. State Association : Nathan:
• Ochoco, Oregon Lawsuit County (Crook) Vs Federal Government for OHV land use. This case may indeed be used as an example for future OHV/Off-Road Recreation land battle cases.
• Participation is a concern with the Idaho State Ride & Rally, only 5 vehicles are registered to participate so far.
6. Web Master: Micke Accomplishments:
• V2 of idaho4x4.com is complete.
• Social Media: club has been established on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, & Flicker.
• Spam Accounts removed. Encouraging all active members/accounts to update their passwords.
7. Sunshine: Ginny no new activity.
8.Active & New Business:
• June 21st-23rd SIORA hosting Ride & Rally at Nat Soo Pah, Twin Falls. Register is open.
• June 30th Rock Run Dirty Lil Secret & Top Ripper. Will meet at Dan’s Ferry at 9am.
• July 4th Star Parade, Club has decided not to participate this year, as most will be heading up to camp at Park Creek. July 4th-8th Park Creek Camp & Ride (Lowman area) we have the entire CG reserved. (Members+Guests) Christian will go up to CG June 9th to chk area out.
• July 21st Bucks 4×4 event: Tough Truck & BBQ competition. IOR will be voting to see if club would like to sponsor a BBQ team (headed by Curt Blount, Justin Simms & Mark Smith).
• Spoke about IOR having the 2023 State Ride & Rally, beginning the planning (Dan & Marcy) to host at the Warm Lake Resort/CG. Council has also spoke about making a trade with professional BBQ: Trade Club BBQ for full sized Roasted Pig for the State Ride & Rally.
9. Previous Events:
• Warm Lake Snow Run May 11th. 6 members & 5 visitors attended.
• May 18th Hwy CleanUp/BBQ/Tech Inspection/Jeep Topless Event/RTI Ramp & Balance Blocks. 38 attended, 26 members, 12 visitors.
