General Membership Meeting Agenda
March 12th, 2020 Called to Order at: 7:02pm
Idaho Off-Road 4×4 Club is an association of people brought together to share a single passion: Four Wheeling! We are a FAMILY oriented club dedicated to keeping our public lands open while practicing the policy of TREAD LIGHTLY!

I. Call to order –Justin Simms: president@idaho4x4.com
II. Sergeant at Arms – Maintains order in the room. There is a $1 charge for unnecessary disruptions.

Current member count – 67 (counting Kathy Buzzini, a lifetime honorary member)
V. Treasurer’s Report – Christian Dahlstrom: treasurer@idaho4x4.com
· General Fund: $9,442.03
· Joe Aldape Land Use Fund: $1200.00
· Raffle Fund: $4,108.93 ($308.00 made in tonight’s raffle. Thank you, Dan & Micke Barnes!)
· Last Month’s Raffle brought in $413.00. (Thank you, Dan & Marcy Sullivan!)
· Grand Total: $14,750.96
VI. Active and New Business
• Club Membership Dues being accepted now and no later than the gavel fall of this meeting, after there will be a $10 late fee applied. If dues are not paid by the beginning of next Cub Meeting (April 9th) you will have to go thru the membership process again. Club Member Dues are $30 (+$10 late fee after this meeting), New Member’s Dues $40 ($10 goes to the State Association).
• Council Elections Tonight. Justin Simms President, Curt Blount Vice President, Christian Dahlstrom Treasurer, Ginny Simms Secretary are your 2020 IOR Council Members.
• 3 Club Run in Bruneau, hosted by Justin Simms & IOR, March 21st. IOR will be providing meat for the BBQ. Please RSVP via idaho4x4.com, so that enough food can be prepared for your attendance! If attending, please bring a side dish (i.e.: snacks, salads, desserts). Camping will be at the Diff Hanger Trail Head Friday and Saturday nights.
• 2 Headed Dragon & Lost Trail Run CleanUp, March 28th, hosted by Nathan White. Discussed Tumbleweed issues on trails, no burning allowed at this time.
• 7th Annual Chuck Coble Memorial Rocket Run Registration is open online: https://idaho4x4.com/RocketRun/ Event Date is April 25th
• State Ride & Rally will be held June 12th-14th in Hemmingway Butte Area by HDOR. (more details will be available the closer we get)
VII. Education : Dan Sullivan: Special Guest Speakers from Farm Bureau: Grant & Dillon spoke to the Club.

· Tom & Toni Cota were married Henry the Hip Hippo was sent to Brock White for a surgery he underwent. Lynette White had a surgery the same day and received a super fuzzy blanket. Glenn Morgan is still trying to figure what is wrong with his hands, Carpel Tunnel was a misdiagnose. Kevin the Kidney Koala was sent to Micke Barnes. Brandi Allison received some sunshine for her recovery from an extensive foot surgery.

· Encouraged members to use our trails and recreation areas.
XI. State Association: Nathan White: not in attendance. President spoke about $10 of Club members dues goes to the State Association to help bring together our state clubs and unite us under one association. State Association voted and agreed to donate $1,000.00 to Idaho Recreation Council.

· Feb 29th, 4×4 CleanUp at Big Willow ORV Park, hosted by Treasure Valley Off Road.
• March 1st, Robie Creek Resevoir BBQ gathering. Club wants to keep as an annual event.
• March 3rd, Rocket Run Planning Committee Meeting at Jo & Ben Wicke’s home. Next to be held at Glenn & Patti’s home, April 16th at 6pm.
• State Idaho 4×4 Association Run & Meeting, March 7th in Twin Falls.

XV. Upcoming Events – Ginny Simms/Lola Hartnoll (Patti Evans will be taking over for Lola)
• Next Rocket Run Planning Committee Meeting held at Glenn & Patti’s home April 16th at 6pm.
• IOR Christmas Party 2020 already determined. Dec 12th, 2020 at the Riverside Hotel at 4pm(?). Same room this year, plus a separate buffet room, close by, to give more room for tables. Deposit has been paid.
• Discovery Park Shelter reserved for May 16th BBQ, Tech Inspection & Topless Event to follow Hwy CleanUp.
• 2023 IOR Ride & Rally at North Shore Resort/Campground. Dan & Marcy Sullivan have began planning & talking with owners

*Raffle information:
1. The raffle is on a voluntary basis. If you volunteer to be responsible for the raffle one month it is your responsibility to purchase the raffle prizes, or ask businesses to donate to the raffle. You need to bring the raffle items to the meeting you volunteered for. You sell the raffle tickets at the meeting you are responsible for, or you can ask for help on selling the raffle tickets.
2. The reason behind the raffle is to build up the raffle fund to have a Christmas raffle that no one is responsible for.
3. Some of the raffle money also goes towards Toys for Tots each year.
4. We encourage every member to volunteer for a raffle. You can volunteer on your own, or make it a joint venture. Thank you in advance for considering volunteering for the raffle.
