Idaho Off-Road 4×4 Club is an association of people brought together to share a single passion: Four Wheeling! We are a FAMILY oriented club dedicated to keeping our public lands open while practicing the policy of TREAD LIGHTLY!

                  I. Call to order –Justin Simms:  president@idaho4x4.com

                II. Sergeant at Arms – Maintains order in the room. There is a $1 charge for unnecessary disruptions.

             III. Roll call:  Members & Family:  26 w/a total of 15 members able to vote.

           VII. Active and New Business

•       HDOR is hosting the Turkey Run Nov 21st at 8am.  It will be held more like a traditional run, not an official organized event.  Coffee & Doughnuts in the morning and a lunch served between 11am-2pm courtesy of HDOR.  There is a cap of 180, please RSVP on their Facebook page/event for a headcount and food purchase.

•     IOR will be hosting a Member’s Christmas Tree Run December 12th.  Meet at 9am in parking lot of Emmett Albertsons.  640 ID-16  Emmett 83617

•     It’s that time of year when we need to begin thinking of who you’d like to nominate for the 2021 IOR Council.  Justin & Ginny will be stepping down from all of their positions.  Dan Sullivan & Justin Simms spoke about why you’d want to volunteer for the council/board.  The importance to stay in a club (power in #s) to help keep our lands open for recreation.  Patti Evans made a great point about using the Club to help educate new offroaders the proper way to enjoy our trails & outdoors.  To help change an outsider’s view/opinion.

•     Rocket Run Planning Committee will begin meeting in January 2021, at the Simms’ home.

         VIII. Education :  Dan Sullivan: By now, everyone has seen the tragic video of the jeep tumbling down the side of a mountain.  Should we trust our Emergency Brakes?

•   Club sent a Get Well card to Lola Hartnoll, she is sick with COVID.

•   Oct 3rd:  Fall Highway Clean Up & Christian’s Oktoberfest Celebration.  20 volunteers for the cleanup and 8 attendees for the Celebration.  Thank you Everyone!

•   Oct 31st:  Idaho City/Miner’s Grave Run, hosted by Christian Dahlstrom.  32 vehicles participated.

XVI.      New Applicants Eligible for Vote: Jim Kokaly, TJ Freeman, Rose Martin.

Tonight, we gathered 15 eligible voting members.  There was a vote for:  TJ Freeman & Rose Martin both received unanimous yes votes.

IOR now has 59 members.

Klint Breeding Donated $5 to hand the Prank Me Bell to Wes Weidner.
