Idaho Off-Road 4×4 Club is an association of people brought together to share a single passion – Four Wheeling!  We are a FAMILY oriented club dedicated to keeping our public lands open while practicing the policy of TREAD LIGHTLY!

  • Idaho State 4×4 Association – Discussion and Q&A Session
    • Corrie Dashnaw – Director
    • Klint Breeding – 1st Assistant Director
    • Josh Martin – 2nd Assistant Director
    • “What is IS4X4 doing for us?”

The IS4X4 Board has made many changes and have engaged with many land use issues over the past 7 months.

      1. Redrafted and passed bylaws that enable action
      2. Obtained 501C3 status
      3. Obtained EIN and registered as a non-profit corporation with the Secretary of State – Idaho
      4. Active on website and FB – PNW4WDA Region One, Eagle Rock Offroaders, 208 Offroad, & other groups following on FB
      5. Forum for communicating with the other 4X4 clubs and individuals – a “universal voice”
      6. Monitoring on-going land use issues and disseminating knowledge to the clubs.
        • Engaging with Blue Ribbon Coalition (BRC) and Idaho Recreation Council (IRC)
      7. Supporting its subsidiary clubs by providing:
        • Umbrella event insurance coverage – applied for and purchased in 2023
        • Encourage individuals to join local clubs
        • “How to” resources in becoming a non-profit off-roading club and how to establish 501C3
        • Support clubs in activities or with issues as they arise.
        • Support clubs by attending a percentage of their member meetings/events
        • Keep clubs abreast of sister-club activities and issues.
      8. Creating brochures to handout to promote the Association and responsible off-roading – increase membership.
      9. Partnering with trail app businesses
      10. Ride and Rally – Passed vote this week…
        • Club hosting the event will keep 25% of the proceeds to be donated to a community/off-roading cause.
      11. Adding trail runs that engage everyone. i.e., Boulder Basin Rendezvous – will be an annual activity that everyone is invited to.
      12. Maintain memberships with Blue Ribbon Coalition and Tread Lightly
      13. Providing business discounts to members
    • What is happening now?
      1. AED being purchased and maintained by Association
      2. Will loan to the clubs for their respective large “events”
      3. Ride & Rally
      4. Will provide $1000 seed money with application and signed contract for repayment.
      5. Hosting club keeps 25% of proceeds to donate to a community/land use cause
      6. 2024 – SIORA hosted @ the Twin Falls Fairgrounds in Filer, ID June 6th – 8th
      7. Working on a counter-top brochure to attract more members to the association.

      9. July 26th – 28th, 2024 (Will always occur the last weekend of July)
    • “The Best of Idaho Off-roading 2023” Contest

        • Each category winner gets a trophy – submission are to be from 2023
        • Starts January 15th and ends February 29th, with 30-min voting period at Annual Meeting
        • $1.00/vote with no limit – online voting
  • Christmas/Winter Party @ the Riverside Hotel – Saturday, December 9th
    • Registration Costs:  Member Meal = $20, and Guest Meal = $55
      1. Door prize entry with each registration
    • Reception from 6 – 7 pm   /   Dinner @ 7 pm
    • Raffle and White Elephant Gift Exchange* afterward

*White Elephant Gift Exchange is optional – one gift per person to participate

    • 23 rigs and most everyone made it up to the rocks.  Snow @ the top and lots of hunters.
