Idaho Off-Road 4×4 Club is an association of people brought together to share a single passion: Four Wheeling! We are a FAMILY oriented club dedicated to keeping our public lands open while practicing the policy of TREAD LIGHTLY!

II. Sergeant at Arms – Maintains order in the room. There is a $1 charge for unnecessary disruptions.

• General Fund:  $12,809.03
• Joe Aldape Land Use Fund:  $401.50  (half of raffle goes to land use fund until $1200 is reached)
• Raffle Fund:  $5157.36 ($368.00 made in tonight’s raffle.  Thank you, Jon, Heather & Cieira Knapp!)
• Last Month’s Raffle brought in $352.00.  (Thank you, Justin & Ginny Simms!)
• Grand Total:  $18,367.89
VI. Active and New Business 
• Oct 26th Idaho City/Halloween Miner’s Grave Run.  Run hosted by Christian Dahlstrom. (Dress up your rig) 8:30am Breakfast at Trudy’s in Idaho City.  9am at Albertson’s on Hwy 21 & Federal Way.  
10am at Idaho City HS Football Field.
• Nov 2nd Yanke Motor Museum Tour at 1090 Boeing Street Boise.  10am-2pm.  (donations welcome)
• RSVP for Members to the 2019 IOR Christmas Party Dec 7th.  The Club will pay for Club member + 1 guest/spouse.
• Registration is open online for the HDOR Turkey Run, Nov 23rd.  Andrew Arnold (HDOR Vice President) spoke to Club about the event.  
• Proposal to change the Bylaws for applicants from 6 month waiting period from application date, change to 6months from 1st Attendance to the Club.  Christian spoke about this topic, serval motioned for a vote, Curt Blount 2nd the motion.  Club will vote at November Club Meeting regarding this change.
• Begin to think about who you want on the Council for 2020.
• Andrew Arnold also brought up the HDOR 2020 Ride-n-Rally.  (not father’s day)
VII. Education :  Dan spoke to the club about Improvisation for Trail Repairs.
• What to Pack?:  Ujoints, Ubolts, an assortment of Nuts/Bolts, Brake Lines, Brake Fluid, Vice Grips, hammers (BFH), Fluids (Power Steering, Xtra Water, Transmission, Antifreeze), Stop Leak (radiator use), Pliers, Hose Clamps (standard & universal), Bailing Wire, Mechanics wire, duct tape, bead lock bolts, batteries (for cordless wench remote), older jeep wheel bearings, lug wrench, extra sockets/large bar, ratchet straps, valve stems.

• Michael Hasslbauer’s mother passed away, Club sent a card.  October Birthdays:  Crystal Coble, Manny Turner, Sherry Coble, & Dianna Magstadt.

• Baowfeng HAM pamphlets to be a success, will get more printed up.
X. Land Use – Christian Dahlstrom
• There is a motion to close 75 miles south of Twin Falls by the Forest Service.  It sounds like its more of a seasonal closure for animal breeding area.
• Elk City Closure of 5 Mile with cement Barricades, continues.  Collecting signatures for Petition to reopen bridge access from October 2019-December 2019.
XI. State Association:  Nathan White: not in attendance tonight.
 
XII. Previous Events:
• Oct 5th Fall Highway CleanUp.  32 Volunteers turned out and most headed up to Christian’s Oktoberfest party.  Thank you to all who came out and helped clean up our Adopted Highway!
• Oct 8th Rocket Run Planning Committee meeting at Dan & Marcy’s home.  16 attended, Thank You!
• Sept 21st Succor/Poison Creek Run.  17 vehicles attended (4 were guests)
• Sept 21st Wild West OffRoaders’ Tuff Truck Challenge. (no club members mentioned attending)

XIII.  Upcoming Events – Ginny Simms/Lola Hartnoll
• Begin planning for 7th Annual Chuck Coble Memorial Rocket Run this year.  Second official Committee meeting will be at Mark & Susie Smith’s home, Nov 5th at 7pm.
• 2019 IOR Christmas Party will be Dec 7th at Riverside Hotel.
• 2023 IOR Ride & Rally at North Shore Resort & RV park (Warm Lake) planning has begun.  Dan & Marcy are getting more information for dates and cost preparation.

*Raffle information:
1. The raffle is on a voluntary basis. If you volunteer to be responsible for the raffle one month it is your responsibility to purchase the raffle prizes, or ask businesses to donate to the raffle. You need to bring the raffle items to the meeting you volunteered for. You sell the raffle tickets at the meeting you are responsible for, or you can ask for help on selling the raffle tickets. 
2. The reason behind the raffle is to build up the raffle fund to have a Christmas raffle that no one is responsible for. 
3. Some of the raffle money also goes towards Toys for Tots each year.
4. We encourage every member to volunteer for a raffle. You can volunteer on your own, or make it a joint venture. Thank you in advance for considering volunteering for the raffle.
